    I need to create one rope harness to keep a dildo inside my partner while we play, and another to act like a regular harness, to hold a dildo on me while I fuck him, preferably one with an open crotch so he can switch between sucking my dildo and pleasing me.

    I want to apologize in advance, I have a question that I know I could find the answer to online, the problem is both sifting through the massive amount of search results, and also then figuring out which solution is the best. Also, I am going to cross-post this question to this group and two others, so I apologize if you get it more than once. I was hoping that maybe someone here would have experience with this subject matter, and would be able to point me toward the most practical solution, offer tips, or just give me some guidance that’s a little more helpful than a Google search. I do have a moderate level ( a step up from an educated beginner level) of experience with using rope on another person, but I usually prefer being the one tied up.

    So, the two things I need help with. I need two rope harnesses, for two separate purposes. I need one rope harness that I can put on my male partner that will help keep a rather large dildo (that does have attaching balls) in his ass while we fuck, play, or otherwise do things that will require movement. We’ve already tried plugs, and they ones we have are too small, they pop out, and we can’t afford to get the giant butt plug that would be required to keep it in his ass. The problem is, other than figuring out the best way to do this – he IS NOT A ROPE BOTTOM. So, he’s going to get impatient fast. I can help keep him focused by pulling the dildo in and out while I work, or other things, but if this is tricky I might need to focus, so I’m not worried about pretty, I’m just worried about keeping his ass stuffed and his penis free of restriction (well, restriction from rope anyway) and doing it as quickly as possible, so that we can then move on to things he enjoys more, but while the dildo is securely in his ass and not going to move.

    The second thing is I would like to make a harness to strap a dildo on myself, so I can fuck him with his dildo. We shopped around for regular strap-on harnesses, but the dildo’s he uses are pretty big, which limits the market, and there are other reasons we decided not to purchase one yet.

    I was hoping I could create this with rope, at home, before we play, so he’s not bored sitting around waiting for me to finish. Although I understand that this might get tricky, and we might have to make some adjustments, or do final steps together where I’ll have another set of hands. If nothing else, once I create it at home, then take it off, I know how rope works, and I’ll probably need his help putting it back together on me. Also, if it’s possible without adding too much extra work, I’d like to create a “crotchless” harness to do this, but given the magnitude of what I’m trying to do, I’m willing to accept that I might have to take the harness of when it’s time for my fun. Of course, if my being fingered while he sucks my cock sounds as sexy to you as it does to me, maybe you have some ideas that aren’t too complicated that I could work with 😉

    The one skill that does help me here – I’ve learned how to make standard full body rope harnesses and rope dresses on myself without someone else helping. I actually taught others how to do this in a “Kink for One” class, teaching people about kinky things they could do without a partner. So, I’m able to do things behind my back with rope that other people might have trouble with.

    Do you want it to be entirely made of rope, or would you use a cock ring in it? It should be easy, and quick, with a cock ring as a central attachment point. You could use the rope to follow either the thong style, or the under-the-bum style of strap-on harness.

    If we use a cock ring it has to be one of the silicon ones, because none of the metal cock rings we found when we were looking for a pre-made harness were big enough. I wasn’t sure if a silicon cock ring would be supportive enough to use with rope, also, it would be so tight around the dildo that it would be impossible to run any rope through it to support the base of the dildo, unless I special ordered something. That’s why I mentioned the dildo has balls, I thought maybe I could somehow use those as a stabilizing force.

    That’s the primary problem. These things are freaking huge. I know how to make a standard body harness for a female, and could easily adapt it to fit a regular size dildo, but the ones he uses are extremely large (like, the kind they buy for bachelor parties as jokes), so I thought someone might have some tips or suggestions for how I can create a stable harness using a different method, or a standard method with a few tricks from experience, or something.

    Also, I’ve never been on the giving end of a penis, particularly a large floppy one, so I need something that’s going to keep it sturdy and in place while I get used to how to manage it.

    The same applies for the harness I need to keep the dildo inside him when I’m not wearing it. I’m familiar with a body harness for a woman, but I’ve never made one to go on a man, and usually if the rope runs through the back where I need it to go to hold the dildo in place, it also runs through the front of me. I need it to not suppress his penis, and go around it in a way that won’t restrict his ability to move.

    So basically there are just a few problems that put this a little out of my league. I was hoping for a suggestion or a link to a how-to that might help. Really, anything. Thanks for reading and asking about the ring.

    I do a thing when I’m crocheting, where I make a loop by wrapping the cord around the crochet hook a few times, and then crochet over it. Maybe you could make a ring of the proper size by looping some cord, probably shoe lace sized cord, and doing half hitches over it. It sounds like a lot of fun, for a rope person!

    I haven’t found the thong style rope harness for toys to be too constricting in the penis area, however I’m usually doing such things with rope lovers.

    Thank you so much for your suggestions. I don’t know why it didn’t occur to me to make my own cock ring – I’m making everything else but the dildo, why not make that, too? Hell, maybe I’ll make him some anal beads out of synthetic rope to play with while I’m setting the rest of this up. I’m a rope lover, although like I said, I’m usually the one being tied up. I think he’ll enjoy it just because it’s something new and different, a sensation he’s not familiar with already, I’m just worried about his patience. While I can sit for hours and enjoy the feel of rope running over my body while it’s being turned into something beautiful and/or functional, he may not enjoy sitting still while waiting for me to finish so we can start the activities he’s interested in.

    Also, I think I could easily reverse this process to keep the cock in his ass. I’d have to tie it a little bit tight, but I think if done properly, maybe with some adjustments, it could keep the ass in place and there’s no restriction on his cock at all…

    I found a video by Lee Harrington on Kink Academy a while back (I don’t subscribe any more so no idea if it’s still there) that shows exactly the kind of strap-on dildo harness you’re describing – totally made of rope and fairly simple to put together. I’ve tried it several times, it’s a cinch (literally 5 minutes or so once you get the hang of it), totally adjustable on your body, and able to accomodate any size dildo. I’ve put it on myself, and had my sub do it for me.

    Basically, you tie around the waist first, pass rope between your legs and back again to the front, and begin a series of hitches down the pubis and around the dildo. Pass the rope to the back, separate the lines and pass to the front again, tying off at the waist. It will leave your crotch and ass exposed for play, and the best part is when you’re done you simply untie at the waist and the whole thing falls right off for cleaning later.
